The first sightseeing attraction of my day in Barcelona, was visiting Sagrada Familia. I have seen it for a few times from outside, but I’ve never had enough time to see it from inside. This time the inside was my major priority, because I am a big, big fan of Gaudi‘s architecture. In my mind I’ve always imagined how it would be inside of Sagrada, but when I’ve seen it… I felt a tear in my eyes and I couldn’t stop it. It is so, soo, soooo amazing. All the greatness of the church, all the details and the lights, colors that plays with the interior… I was wondering was he a mad man to create such a beauty. Later on, I’ve heard that I’m not the only one who was questioning myself that question. In 1878, when he graduated from the Barcelona school of architecture, the dean said, “I am not sure to whom I presented a diploma today, to a madman or to a genius.” I think, he was both: madman & genius. I really hope to be finished until 2026, because it’ll really present one of the biggest world wonders.
This is how Sagrada will look in 2026 http://www.boredpanda.com/how-will-finished-sagrada-familia-look-in-2026/
